Professor Henning Sirringhaus, FlexEnable’s chief scientist and board member, has received the 2015 Faraday Medal.
Professor Sirringhaus has been granted the Institute of Physics’ accolade for “transforming our knowledge of charge transport phenomena in organic semiconductors as well as our ability to exploit them.” This both recognises Henning as one of the leading authorities in the field of organic semiconductors and signals the importance of this technology in the recent explosion of flexible electronic devices.
Prof Sirringhaus is also Hitachi Professor of Electron Device Physics, Head of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics Group at the Cavendish Lab, Cambridge University.
