PDC announced that it has appointed Robert Case as its new company president. Case will be responsible for expanding PDC’s leadership position by growing overall revenue, enhancing the customer experience for the company’s multiple identification markets including healthcare, leisure and entertainment and law enforcement, and driving the development of new and innovative products. Tracey Carpentier, PDC’s former president, announced her retirement in July.
In his previous role as vice president of worldwide marketing and sales, Case was instrumental in acquiring and integrating multiple companies including TimeMed and The St. John Companies, and ultimately for creating the commercial model that exists at PDC today.
“This is a dynamic time for healthcare. The industry is experiencing significant changes that require meaningful product innovation and top-level talent to offer an unparalleled customer experience,” Case said. “I’m honored to be given the opportunity to play an even greater role in continuing to grow this accomplished and respected organization that is known globally for its unrivaled ID products in both the healthcare and hospitality arenas.”
In addition to healthcare, PDC is a global leader and pioneer in RFID wristband and kiosk solutions for major amusement parks, water parks, sporting events, and music festivals. Designed to automate manual procedures to enhance the guest experience, PDC’s RFID solutions have been implemented at leading national parks and venues, including Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, Schlitterbahn Water Parks & Resorts, Great Wolf Resorts, and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Prior to joining PDC, Case served more than 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility including executive roles in both sales and marketing at Johnson & Johnson, for the pharmaceutical and medical device divisions of the company.
