Zebra Technologies has appointed Yu Fang as its Greater China country lead. Based in Shanghai, Yu is responsible for driving Zebra’s business in the Greater China region. He reports to Ryan Goh, the Singapore-based SVP and GM for Asia Pacific.
“Greater China continues to be a very important market for Zebra in Asia Pacific as it offers vast opportunities for us, especially with the growth of the manufacturing industry driven by the rising popularity of electric vehicles (EV),” said Goh. “As an IT veteran with a proven track record, Yu is a great fit for this role. I am confident that he will be able to take our Greater China business to even greater heights.”
Yu has more than 25 years of sales and business management experience in hardware, software, services, and solution selling. Prior to joining Zebra, Yu served as the area VP and GM of the Greater China region at Citrix. He has also held other senior leadership positions at Microsoft, Oracle, Dell, and Hewlett-Packard.
“I am thrilled to join an established brand like Zebra and have the chance to grow its Greater China business,” said Yu. “China is arguably the world’s factory, and it currently has one of the fastest growing EV markets in the world. This will yield tremendous opportunities for Zebra as we have the right solutions needed by business leaders in manufacturing and other industries to improve their operational efficiency and accuracy.”
