Osram is among the top 25 of the world’s 100 most sustainable companies for the second year in a row.
With this award, the Canadian research company Corporate Knights confirmed the sustainability performance of the Munich-based high-tech company once again.
In addition to the award announcement, Osram is publishing its sustainability report for fiscal year 2020.
Osram remains in the top quarter of the "Global 100 Index," according to Corporate Knights’ ranking of the 100 most sustainable companies worldwide.

n total, only seven German companies made it into the rankings.
Out of approximately 7,400 worldwide companies, Osram ranks 23rd.
According to Corporate Knights, the Global 100 represents the most sustainable one percent of all companies worldwide.
“We are delighted about the renewed recognition of our efforts in the area of sustainability and are proud that the jury recognized our constant commitment,” Osram CFO Kathrin Dahnke said. “We are convinced that economic success is closely coupled with good sustainability work in the long term.”
