Checkpoint Systems is marking its 50th anniversary with the opening of a new Customer Experience Center at its North American headquarters in Thorofare, NJ.
The Customer Experience Center is a multistore format retail technology laboratory featuring more than 40 connected store technologies. It enables Checkpoint engineers and retailers to interact with, test and trial connected store solutions so they can gain valuable insights into a working lab environment prior to store wide deployment.
According to Checkpoint President John Dargan, “Checkpoint Systems is transforming retail with an array of ingenious connected store solutions that improve product availability, thus improving financial performance and enhancing the consumer experience.”
In addition to providing EAS loss prevention solutions, Checkpoint has become a vertically integrated global RFID retail partner. It produces its own intelligent RF/RFID tags, labels, personalized RF/RFID pedestals and scanning hardware. This connected store environment is integrated with Checkpoints HALO IoT software platform. This Microsoft Azure-based platform delivers improved financial performance and improved consumer experience for retail partners via an ecosystem of hardware and software solutions that include RF/RFID labels, tags and trims that interact with devices to provide a range of intelligent actions that ensure inventory investment and the consumer experience is maximized.
Interested customers, retail professionals, analysts, professional groups and universities can visit the Customer Experience Center to see the future of connected retail stores, as well as test their new products and inventory management protocols in a retail environment that is representative of their own specific store environment by registering here.
