Massivit 3D Printing Technologies said it will demonstrate how print providers can significantly increase their competitive edge and obtain higher margins with large format 3D printing technology in booth 2969 at this year’s SGIA Expo, which takes place Oct. 18-20.
Visitors to the company’s booth will see live demonstrations, as well as a wide range of 3D printed applications. These include illuminated POP displays, wide format 2D/3D combined billboards, complex channel lettering, and 3D printed molds for vacuum forming. Also on display will be customized SEG frames. Traditionally these frames are designed in the standard square and rectangular forms. However, by utilizing Massivit 3D’s technology, print providers can produce complex shapes.
At the show, Massivit 3D will also deliver a free-to-attend keynote session entitled, ‘Abracadabra! How to Incorporate 3D Printing Technology and Campaigns into your Wide Format Print Business’ on Saturday Oct. 20 at 9 a.m. in room N117. Attendees will learn why major brands such as Sony, Netflix, Honeywell, and Louis Vuitton are incorporating large format 3D printing into their campaigns.
Massivit 3D’s Kim Haimovic will share details of recent customer projects for the visual communication and entertainment markets.
The session will also include a unique, first-hand insight into a company already utilizing Massivit 3D’s technology to expand and grow its business. Craig M. Miller, president and CEO of Pictographics, will explain how print providers can incorporate the company’s solutions to achieve higher margins, quicker turnarounds and a competitive edge in a crowded market.
“Revolutionary technology means there’s no ‘going rate’, so you get to name your price because there are few competitors and you’re bringing a wow-factor to the customer,” Miller said. “Massivit 3D’s technology has very much been a door opener for us, as customers are keen to know the latest industry trends and possibilities. New technology is a magnet for prospects and creatives.”
“Retailers and brands are continuously looking for innovative ways to captivate their audiences. Massivit 3D’s technology offers a range of attention-grabbing applications which directly respond to this market demand,” said Kevin Sykes, president for North America at Massivit 3D. “Our operations in the U.S. are constantly growing and the range of applications achievable with our technology allows print providers to stand out from the crowd while targeting new revenue streams.”
