American Semiconductor, Inc. has been honored by Boeing as the 2016 Pathfinder Supplier of the Year.
Boeing recognized 13 companies selected from more than 13,000 suppliers from 48 countries as 2016 Supplier of the Year Award winners in Dallas, stating that these 13 companies are the “Best of the Best.”
“The global suppliers earning top honors this year demonstrated an unwavering commitment to quality, delivered customer value and partnered with us on cost-effective, innovative solutions,” said Dennis Muilenburg, Boeing chairman, president and CEO.
American Semiconductor received the Boeing Supplier of the Year in the Pathfinder category for delivering outstanding efforts and improvements in 2016.
“Flexible electronics is a new industry capability that is gaining traction, recognition of the technology and our company’s role in supplying it to Boeing is a tremendous honor,” Doug Hackler, president and CEO of American Semiconductor, noted.
“Boeing’s success is a testament to the partnerships we hold with the finest aerospace suppliers in the world such as American Semiconductor,” said Kent Fisher, Boeing’s leader for enterprise supplier management. “Together we will continue to deliver affordable, technologically advanced products and services that give our customers a competitive edge.”
