Zebra Technologies announced that its TC8000 and TC5 series touch computers, DS3600 scanner and Total Wearable Solutions each received the prestigious iF award in the product design category.
Established in 1953, the iF World Design Awards promote industrial design with one of the world’s most prestigious design competitions.
The ergonomic, lightweight TC8000 mobile computer offers an innovative design that reduces muscle effort by eliminating the need for “tilt and verify” motions warehouse workers repeatedly conduct with traditional devices. Shaving seconds off each repetitive motion saves one hour per worker per shift – increasing productivity by an average of 14% based on more efficient workflow.
The design of the TC5 Series touch mobile computers satisfies the durability, power and security needs of business users while offering a consumer-device-like interface which better meets the expectations of today’s end users.
The DS3600 ultra-rugged series of scanners are 23% more durable than any other scanner in its class.
The easy-to-use WT6000 industrial wearable computer and the RS6000 ring scanner are part of Zebra’s Total Wearable Solutions portfolio, designed to drive greater warehouse efficiency and worker effectiveness.
“Winning four 2017 iF design awards reflects our dedication to deeply understanding our customer’s business needs and translating that understanding into unique designs that enable unprecedented levels of workforce productivity and customer service,” said Tom Bianculli, CTO, Zebra Technologies.
