The 2017 Printed Electronics Symposium – coming Oct. 10 to the 2017 SGIA Expo – is seeking presentations targeting both the business and technical sides of the rapidly growing market of e-textiles. Presentation topics may include (but are not limited to):
• Advances in textiles, inks, substrates and connectors.
• Current and future business opportunities in e-textiles.
• Unexplored markets for e-textiles.
• Advances in production processes.
• Leveraging your company’s current capabilities into e-textiles.
• Case studies.
• Developments in e-textile testing standards.
The symposium will also consider general presentations in the applications and product development markets including:
• Printed batteries.
• Force-sensing resistors.
• Printed antennas.
• Wearable medical devices.
• Membrane switches.
Presentations should be approximately 25 minutes in length with a five-minute Q&A at the end. Please submit your proposal by the online submission form. Your proposal must include:
• Session title and topic.
• One-paragraph description of session.
