Synaptics announced its Natural ID fingerprint sensors and ClearPad touchscreen controllers are featured on the new ASUS ZenFone AR smartphone. The ZenFone AR is the industry’s first Google Tango enabled and Daydream-ready smartphone and built for augmented reality. ASUS selected Synaptics for its one-touch secure fingerprint authentication and high-performance touchscreen features.
Synaptics ClearPad touchscreen controllers deliver high-performance multi-finger touch and features such as grip and palm suppression, and low-power wake-up gestures.
Synaptics’ Natural ID fingerprint sensors are available with SentryPoint technology, offering OEMs a wide-range of highly secure authentication features including match-in-sensor technology, Quantum Matcher with PurePrint anti-spoof technology, and SecureLink 256-bit AES with TLS 1.2 encryption.
