Zebra Technologies announced its participation in the inaugural Health Slam 2016 IoT for Healthcare virtual conference on Dec. 2, 2016. Chris Sullivan, Zebra’s global healthcare practice lead, will serve as chairman of the Health Slam Advisory Board.
Zebra provides the kind of visibility that lets healthcare facilities see into every aspect of the operation and the patient journey. Its end-to-end patient ID, clinical mobility and healthcare intelligence solutions enhance patient safety, staff member productivity and operational efficiency.
Health Slam explores the application of IoT in Healthcare across digital transformation; security and privacy issues; regulatory compliance (HIPAA); consumer-driven healthcare; remote patient monitoring; patient-centered analytics; cognitive applications; government regulations; device interoperability and data integration; and sharing of patient data.
“Zebra is pleased to join the Internet of Things Community and play a leadership role in its Health Slam movement,” said Sullivan. “We look forward to collaborating with members of the IoT Community as we explore how to best leverage IoT in healthcare to connect the right patient to the right care at the right time.”
