During the CPCA Show 2016, Sun Chemical Advanced Materials will introduce a portfolio of new solutions for printed circuits and printed electronics applications that are designed to ensure superior performance and efficiency.
“Our customers want solutions for printed circuits and printed electronics that provide convenience, consistency, and innovation,” said Tony Searle, business Manager – Circuits, Sun Chemical. “As a full service provider for printed circuits and printed electronics, Sun Chemical understands the needs and requirements of electronics manufacturers from project conception to production, allowing us to provide the types of solutions our customers are looking for and need.”
Printed circuit board manufacturers who visit Sun Chemical’s booth will be introduced to its Imagecure Soldermask, which can be applied by screenprinting, curtain coating, air, or electrostatic spray. As the most used soldermask in Europe, Imagecure Soldermask has received global approval by OEMs in various markets.
Sun Chemical will launch its new EPR5000 Peelable Mask, a convenient and cost-effective mask which meets stringent health and safety requirements around the world. Optimized for high-temperature soldering and chemical plating, EPR5000 is also applicable to lead-free soldering processes.
For efficient printed switches, Sun Chemical’s MTS Value Package of conductive inks speeds the design and development of membrane touch switches (MTS). The MTS Value Package includes low-temperature silver, carbon, and UV-curable dielectric inks which deliver superior performance at a low cost. The MTS Value Package contains a matched set of products, chemistries, and performance criteria that have been developed to ensure consistent, reliable performance.
Sun Chemical will also introduce its new EMD5800 Nanosilver Ink, a conductive inkjet printable ink for the production of printed RFID, OLED panels, thin-film photovoltaic designs, printed antennae and touch screen displays. EMD5800 Nanosilver Ink features outstanding conductivity and high print resolution, exceptional jetting performance, monodispersion and low-temperature sintering. EMD5800 is applicable to a variety of substrates, including polyimide, PET, PC and PC/ABS, and is compatible with most industrial and commercial printheads.
Other SunTronic solutions for switches and sensors are designed to offer superior process and performance by incorporating formulations for various printing processes, including screen, offset, and inkjet.
