Creative Materials has introduced a new electrically conductive medical silver/silver-chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrode ink and coating. This silicone-based product, 126-49, is designed to bond to silicone, polyolefin fabrics, fluoropolymer substrates and other hard-to-bond substrates. Additional benefits include flexibility and stretchability, with sustained electrical properties when the final product is bent, creased or stretched. Typical applications include, but are not limited to, medical sensors, ECG, EEG, TENS and defibrillator electrodes.
126-49 exhibits superior resistance to high salt content hydrogels and is useful over a wide temperature range, exhibiting high temperature resistance up to 325°C. This product is formulated for screenprinting but can also be syringe-dispensed, dipped and sprayed.
