As the retail world meets in New York, Smartrac launches products and solutions that provide the ultimate experience for retailers, brand owners and consumers.
On the occasion of NRF’s annual event in New York, Janu. 17-19, 2016, Smartrac has launched several new RFID transponders ideally suited to retail applications, specifically RAIN RFID inlays based on Impinj’s Monza R6 chip family, such as Accessory and Bling inlays, and the new dual frequency inlay Web DF based on EM Microelectronic’s EM4423 chip. The company will focus strongly on products and solutions that leverage Smart Cosmos, the company’s groundbreaking Internet of Things platform.
Smartrac is also presenting its all-new in-store analytics solution Metrics, which can deliver significant sales lifts and gross margin increases. Metrics empowers retailers with end-to-end supply chain visibility and real-time analytics that provide comprehensive reports to optimize store and shelf availability of merchandise, increasing customer satisfaction. Visitors to the Smartrac booth (#1413) will have the opportunity to see the Metrics demo onsite in a “real-world” apparel store live environment.
In the same environment, other Smart Cosmos based, trendsetting solutions and applications that are close to being launched on the market can be viewed and evaluated as well, in combination with solutions developed in partnership with Blue Bite. These demos specifically showcase product authentication and customer interaction, and are a must-see for any retail professional or brand owner.
One additional item on Smartrac’s booth is related to customer interaction as well: the revolutionary “adidas x HYPEBEAST 10th ANNIVERSARY UltraBOOST UNCAGED.” These sneakers come with built-in NFC tags that allow customers to access and enjoy exclusive content just by tapping their phones to the product.
“By showcasing innovative Smart Cosmos based solutions, we are delivering on our promise to provide the ultimate experience for retailers, brand owners and consumers. Our trade-fair appearance at Retail’s Big Show proves that, together with our partners, we are a comprehensive provider of retail solutions, while our expanded portfolio of tags underlines that we continue to be the leading RFID innovator”, said Torsten Strauch, SVP, Intelligent Things Business Division at Smartrac.
