Neology, a subsidiary of SMARTRAC, has announced the launch of its new Hybrid Dual Frequency UHF and NFC Card.
The development has been an anticipated addition to the Neology UrbanPass product portfolio. The Hybrid Dual Frequency Card complies with ISO18000-6C and ISO14443, has standard ID-1 format dimensions (bank card size) and is optimized for high performance in Electronic Toll Collection and public transportation applications. The Hybrid Card provides convenient access to bus lines, trains, subways, and ferries whose existing infrastructure accepts contact-less proximity cards. The Hybrid Card can also be quickly mounted to a clear polycarbonate LEXAN holder on a vehicle windshield for toll road use.

Customers can also use Neology’s UrbanPass mobile app to access and manage connected transportation accounts, add funds and check transaction history directly from their smartphone.
