FlexTech Alliance announced that Jennifer Ernst, chief strategy officer at Thin Film Electronics, has been elected as chair of its Governing Board. The election occurred at the recently concluded Flex Conference and is for a two-year term, 2015 – 2016. As chair of the Governing Board, Ernst provides the industry leadership necessary for the successful continuation of FlexTech’s programs and services. Ernst succeeds Keith Rollins of DuPont Teijin Films, who will remain on the Board.
At Thinfilm, Ernst is responsible for corporate strategy, strategic marketing, and business development. She was previously EVP, sales and business development for Thinfilm. Prior to joining, Ernst held several positions at PARC, a Xerox Company, including director, business development.

Consequently, Jennifer can help guide FlexTech as we build business and technical services for both,” said Michael Ciesinski, president of FlexTech Alliance. “On behalf of the board and our members we extend appreciation to Keith Rollins for his outstanding leadership over the past two years.”

I look forward to chairing the FlexTech Governing Board and working with the FlexTech leadership, Governing Board and Technical Council to continue to expand the international ecosystem for these industries,” said Ernst.
